Hi, nice to meet you all. My name is Bart, and two months ago, I joined the Hutix clan as a consultant. After eight years at my previous job, I was left with an unsatisfied hunger for new knowledge. The endlessly repetitive work and lack of variation had me stuck in a rut. It was time for me to look for new challenges and expand my professional horizon. This adventure led me to team up with Hutix, and I haven’t looked back since. Working at Hutix is an enriching experience; let me tell you all about it.
A transparent company with an open culture
My introduction to Hutix was through Resource Officer Khadidja. During a phone interview amid COVID-19, she took the time to ask about my wellbeing and how I was dealing with the lockdown. This first contact immediately set the tone for the rest of our interview and my whole experience at Hutix. These few personal questions perfectly reflected the company culture—open, transparent, and with company directors who care about their employees and ideas. Hutix’s communication is not a one-way street. The managers ask for your opinion on various matters and value your input. Hutix may be a relatively young company, but its human resources policy surpasses that of others. The company has a flat structure where everyone is on the same level. You don’t experience the stress of working under a boss, which changes the atmosphere wholly compared to other companies. But then again, we’re not a company; we’re a clan.
Back in the banking business
I am currently working as a functional designer at a bank, my first project at Hutix. Coming from the banking sector, I am familiar with this field of work, which plays to my advantage. For this project, I’m in charge of describing the working method of an application and what it requires to function correctly. It involves collecting and analyzing data to compile it into a database. It’s a rather technical job, so I won’t go into further detail, but I do want to emphasize that I’m finally getting the variety and challenges I’ve been yearning for. I also learned that Hutix is very committed to its employees. They check in with me regularly, asking how I’m doing and if I’m still satisfied with the job. At Hutix, you’re not just a number. You’re a bona fide Titan in their clan.
A world of opportunities
One of the privileges of working at Hutix is the opportunity to change paths now and then. The projects we work on usually last about one to three years, with a possibility of the collaboration being renewed at the end of the term. However, this doesn’t mean that you have to end up working for the same client for years and years. Hutix cares deeply about its employees and puts its energy into creating an environment where you can talk openly about your career plans. I don’t have to stay a banking consultant for the rest of my professional career, and that’s reassuring to know. Maybe I’ll end up as an IT consultant in the entertainment business, who knows. Anything is possible at Hutix.
I’ve only been on the job for about two months, but I would 100% recommend Hutix to other IT lovers seeking the job opportunity of a lifetime. I am certain they would be delighted here, just like I am.
